On a visit to Berlin, I happened upon the The Hansaviertel District, an extraordinary community of modernist architecture, designed after World War two by world’s greatest architects including Alvar Aalto, Le Corbusier, Walter Gropius, and Oscar Niemeyer. It was so inspiring; form, function and yes decoration, but always referencing  the structure. Here’s a color blocked exterior and a sketch for the collection, tumbling blocks.
