Over a 30-year career as an illustrator, Oren was one of the most important graphic illustrators of the 1980s and ‘90s.

His gouache paintings and flat color style, influenced by classic poster art, was a precursor to the digital art that followed. He made his mark on annual reports and corporate work with a sleek graphic look and distinctive pastel palette, creating major campaigns for clients including Mobil Oil, PepsiCo, the US Postal Pervice, the US Mint, Visa, Steuben Glass, Hermes, Burger King, and many more. L.L. Bean honored his work as among their all time best cover art. His work has been published and circulated close to a billion times.

After 11 great years as specialty designer in Interiors at Elkus Manfredi Architects, I am excited to begin a design consultancy forging new creative collaborations and partnerships.

My areas of specialty are color expertise, 2-D and 3-D pattern design, wall graphics as storytelling for the brand, and custom carpets partnered with my licensed manufacturers, offering full production capability.
